Welcome to Week 2 of Family Orientation: Health and Wellbeing!
Below is the need to know information for Week 2 of Family Orientation:
- Watch the Welcome to Wellbeing at UD video
- Check the Blue Hen Family Hub Calendar
for opportunities to attend a live zoom session and learn about “How All of You Transition to Your Student’s College Life” from our Center for Counseling and Student Development.
- Tuesday, July 13 from 6-7pm EST

- Wednesday, July 21 from 6-7pm EST
- Password: CCSD21
- Review the UD health insurance requirement for students
- Tuesday, July 13 from 6-7pm EST
- Your student is required to complete the following training sessions, which start August 2 and they will be due by August 27.

Each week, we will share some questions that can help you have engaging conversations with your student about their NSO experience.
- Ask your student: "Have you downloaded the LiveSafe app on your phone and saved the number for the UD Helpline (302-831-1001)?" If they answer NO, encourage them to do this before they start school this spring.
- Ask your student: "What services at UD are you interested in using to stay healthy, both physically and mentally, at UD?"
- Ask your student: “Did you know that beginning on August 2 you can complete the Alcohol.edu and kNOw More training modules?”
