Welcome to the Blue Hen Family Hub & your first UD Family Orientation newsletter!
We are thrilled to partner with you as your student transitions to the University of Delaware. Over the next three weeks, you will receive weekly Family Orientation newsletters featuring information and resources that align with content your student is reviewing in the online New Student Orientation (NSO) course through Canvas. We encourage you to utilize the many resources the Blue Hen Family Hub has to offer.
In particular, check out the calendar feature to review the various live Zoom sessions offered on a variety of important topics, such as living on campus, dining options, and student financial services. If you have any questions, email Orientation and Transition Programs (OTP) at otp@udel.edu.

- Ask your student: “What was it like to meet with your academic advisor? What classes are you most excited about? What classes are you most nervous about?”
- Ask your student: “How do you think studying for college classes will be different than how you studied before? Did you learn about any resources in your NSO course that can help you stay on track academically?”
