The Office of Academic Enrichment is the place for students to go to ensure their academic success—our services are designed to support and encourage students to take charge of their learning in the college environment. And all are available online when in-person connection is not possible.

CLASSES: Our one-credit, pass/fail SkilMod classes give students an opportunity to hone their skills as they encounter new material. The transition from high school to college can be surprising—in UNIV113 (Study Skills), students can learn a variety of academic strategies, practicing them in their other classes in real time so they can find what works best for them. UNIV114 (Critical Thinking) is a great choice for students going into the humanities and social sciences, and UNIV115 (Problem-Solving) provides students in STEM fields with new strategies for addressing unfamiliar problems effectively and creatively.
