FINALIZING YOUR FINANCIAL AID

Did you know certain types of financial aid require the student or parent/guardian to take action before the aid can pay to the student account? SFS lists these requirements on the To Do List, which students can access through the UDSIS-Student Center, and students and parents/guardians can find on My Finances.

Families required to complete certain actions, such as the verification process, will need to submit documentation using the process below:

MY SFS DOCS

UD employs an online document management system called My SFS Docs, which facilitates the collection of important information needed to finalize a student's financial aid package. Whether a student is required to submit documents to complete the Federal verification process or has initiated a financial aid appeal, this site ensures that information is submitted securely.

My SFS Docs is the student's account. As such, the student must set up login information to access this system. Parents are encouraged to facilitate sending documents and information through their student. Please do not email requested documents, as it is not a secure method for sending sensitive information and could delay processing of documents.

Your student can grant you access to My Finances, if that hasn’t been done yet, through their UDSIS-Student Center by clicking on “Manage Parent/Guardian Access” under “Personal Information”.

Update as of 7/15/2020: Please note the undergraduate billing timeline for Fall 2020 has been adjusted. Billing notifications are scheduled to be emailed the week of August 3. This will result in a revised installment plan of three monthly payments for families who elect to participate in the plan.

'My Finance' page is currently empty. We have some loans approved as part of the FAFSA. Do we need to take any actions on these and how?
