Back on Tuesday, September 29, we hosted UD Parent and Family Connect: Online Learning session where families heard from administrators within Academic Affairs and two faculty members. During this live session, we shared some of the science behind online learning, as well as the effective practices and the particular obligations of instructors and students when engaging in online learning
Throughout this semester, the University of Delaware will host UD Parent & Family Connect. This is a series of live sessions covering a specific topic for all UD families. In advance, families can submit questions or topics to be covered. During each UD Parent and Family Connect, we will give a 30 minute presentation by topic expert administrators. The remaining 20-30 minutes, families will be able to submit live questions in the Zoom Q&A feature. Advanced registration is encouraged.
Our next UD Parent and Family Connect will cover Mental Health and Parenting a College Student During a Pandemic and is on Monday, October 12 at 7 p.m. EST. Families can preregister online here and can submit questions during registration. Families can also view via simulcasting here or copy and pasting this URL into your web browser: sites.udel.edu/udlive/zoom (there is no capacity limit to this simulcasting link).
