We invite all UD students and their families to join us at our AAP campus on March 3 during the Wilmington Art Loop for a live art demonstration and exhibition opening reception! This is a fantastic opportunity for friends and family to visit our Wilmington campus, meet featured UD artist Amir "Amiracle" Campbell, and learn more about our partner organizations located within the Community Education Building (CEB). The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the 8th floor of the CEB.
The art exhibit, RetroReflection, is a collection "expressing meaningful life experiences, memories of influence and significant moments in both the past and present global social climate." Each piece is a moment in time, according to Campbell — "a captured thought." Campbell is currently an MFA candidate at UD specializing in abstract expressionistic portraiture.
All are invited to this opening reception and live demonstration during the March Art Loop in Wilmington. Visitors can enjoy live music from the UD School of Music and light refreshments while viewing the exhibition. This event is sponsored by the Associate In Arts Program, the Department of Art & Design, the College of Arts & Sciences, the Office of Institutional Equity and the School of Music.
