Find a Mentor

Offered in partnership with the Mentor Collective, the CAS Peer Mentoring Program enhances the student experience by linking incoming first-year Blue Hens one-on-one with an alumni or peer mentor.

Students are paired with someone invested in their success—a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Students will learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges and gain career advice. At the same time, mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders. Learn more about mentor-mentee opportunities at the University of Delaware.

More on the Program

Adjusting to college life while managing academics can come with a learning curve, and we’ve seen that mentors can help. In the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Peer Mentoring Program, new students will be able to discuss their experiences in classes and other topics that are important to their personal and professional development.

The length of this program is approximately one year, ending in March 2023, but mentors and mentees are welcome to stay connected as they build their academic and professional networks!

Questions?

Prospective Blue Hens, their families and interested or potential mentors with questions are invited to connect directly with Mentor Collective at help@mentorcollective.org. The Mentor Collective website offers more details on the program, while the link under "Get Started" (above) directly opens the registration form for students.
