Two Deep Breaths - Wednesday, December 8th

Is your student looking for a way to nourish both their mind and body? Two Deep Breaths: a Gentle Yoga & Live Music Getaway is the event for them. This 60-minute event combines live music, yoga, meditation, and positive affirmations. Carefully crafted to promote a sense of relaxation, mindfulness, and creative expression. There are 2 sessions available; 12 PM & 3 PM all located in the Perkins Rodney Room.

Free Your Mind & Unwind - Thursday, December 9th

At this event, your Blue Hen can sit back and relax in one of our massage chairs, regain mental focus at the oxygen aroma bar, and play with puppies from ProUD (Puppy Raisers of UD). They can also enjoy the soothing sounds of "SAXual Healing" live jazz music and participate in some DIY craft stations. This relaxing oasis is exactly what your student needs to free their mind and unwind before finals. Remind them to join in from 5 - 9 pm in the Perkins Concourse & West Lounge.

Recovery Yoga - Thursdays, 7-8pm through December 16th at Warner Hall

The sessions continue every Thursday in Room 107 in the Wellbeing Center At Warner Hall and are a great way for your student to relax and ease their mind. Bringing a mat is optional. The final session concludes on December 16.

Student Body Town Hall - Wednesday, December 8th, 6-8pm

Does your Blue Hen want to join an important conversation around gender-based violence? Direct them to attend What's Next? A Discussion about Gender-Based Violence with panelists from the Department of Women's & Gender Studies, Fraternity and Sorority Leadership & Learning, Victim Advocacy, the Office of the Dean of Students, and the Interfraternity Council. Students may register for the Town Hall or submit questions here.

Wellness Support Available

The Wellbeing Center at Warner Hall, located at the south end of the Green, is open. Students can stop by 8-5 on weekdays to take advantage of the Community Commons and North and South Lounges (rooms 101-103), and to learn more about the counseling and wellness services (appointment-only) and programs available in this building as well as the physical health services next door in Laurel Hall. 24/7 mental health and victim support remain available on the UD Helpline at 302-831-1001, and after-hours medical advice is available at 800-681-3957.
